It’s natural to want to know how your pet is identified and cared for. Here’s how we keep their details with them, from coming into our care to returning their ashes to you.

Once your pet is in our care, we attach a printed tag with their name, your family’s name and your booking order number. These details connect your pet to their own care record, where our team records each transfer and stage of care.

For individual water cremation, your pet’s booking is recorded as an individual water cremation case. Their own record follows them through cremation, drying and preparation of their ashes for return.

Before returning their ashes, we check the pet name, family name and order number on the container against their labels and care record. We also check any memorial items against their order. If you have chosen a nameplate, it is made for your pet.

You can follow their progress on our family tracking page. If you collect their ashes from your vet, the clinic records collection after you have received them.
